The Project Page

When you open a project from the project list, you land on the project page — a single view with the project's key details, quick actions, and tabbed sections.

The header shows the project name with the project number beneath it, plus two editable badges:

  • Status — Click to change the project's status (e.g. Planning, Active, On Hold, Completed).
  • Health — Click to set the project's health (On Track, At Risk, Delayed, Over Budget).

A row of summary cards gives the key facts at a glance:

  • Client — The customer for the project. (If approvals are pending, this card is replaced by an Awaiting Approval card that links to the approvals queue.)
  • Project Owner — The user responsible for the project (or Unassigned).
  • Budget — The estimated budget (visible only with cost permission).
  • Timeline — Start and end dates.
  • Days Remaining — Days left until the end date; shows Overdue once the end date passes, and turns red when under 30 days.

Quick actions

In the page header:

  • View BOQ — Opens the project's Bill of Quantities.
  • Site Survey — Opens site surveys for the project. (Shown only when site surveys are enabled for your organization.)
  • Edit Project — Opens the edit page (see Editing a Project).
  • The ⋯ (more) menu offers Export Status Report, Handover Checklist, and Create Template (save the project's structure as a reusable template).

Tabs

The project page is organized into tabs:

  • Overview — Charts and key metrics (see below), description, project sites, client information, and effort tracking.
  • Phases — The project's phases, with dependency tracking.
  • Tasks — All tasks in the project (the tab shows the current task count).
  • Documents — Files attached to the project.
  • Proposals — Approved proposals linked to the project.
  • Source Files — Photos, drawings, and reference materials.
  • Change Requests — Change requests raised against the project.
  • Expenses — All project-related expenses. This is the main financial-tracking area.
  • Team — Assigned members and their roles; add members here.
  • Activity — Site updates posted from the mobile app, alongside project changes.

Overview metrics

The Overview tab surfaces project progress and financials:

  • Task Status Distribution — A donut chart of tasks by status (To Do, In Progress, Completed, Blocked) with the overall % Complete shown in the center.
  • Project Progress — Completed vs total tasks as a percentage, with an on-schedule / behind-schedule indicator.
  • Budget Utilization — Spent vs estimated budget, broken down by Expenses and Labor, with the remaining amount.
  • Project Timeline and Effort Hours — Time elapsed vs remaining, and estimated vs actual effort.
  • Labor Costs and Project Sites — Attendance-based labor cost breakdown and the list of sites with their budgets.

Cost visibility

Budget, labor, and site cost figures are only visible to users whose role has cost visibility.
